BIM – Building Information Modelling,
A workshop conducted by Bimlabs, for the 4th year students.

The BIM session was really vast and we learnt so much from it. We were able to clearly understand the application of BIM in the industry and how it will be used by different consultants which is known as multidisciplinary coordination.
We were shown how to create room boundaries to get them as a output such as room names area with the sheet templete.
We were taught the placement of doors and windows, staircase, structural components in the Architecture template.
They later taught the use of Plumbing template by linking the model file and working on the sanitary fittings and pipelines.
It was a very productive session and we are much involved in the class.
