Overview

> Learning Methodology

Participatory Lectures

A presentation of the conceptual foundations of the content to be taught, promoting interaction with the students to guide them in their learning of the different contents and the development of the established competences.

Practical Classroom Sessions

Knowledge is applied to a real or hypothetical environment, where specific aspects are identified and worked on to facilitate understanding, with the support from teaching staff.

Tutorship

Students are given technical support in the preparation of the final project, according to their specialisation and the subject matter of the project.

Workshops

Students are supported when undertaking group work, including theoretical sessions which provide the tools and knowledge needed to achieve a result. Ideas and results are exchanged between all the participating groups.

A unique lecture series from architects, academicians and professors from around the country from different well renowned institutions.

Consultation Day

A day dedicated to SERVICE CONSULTANTS to check and crit architectural design ideas for the improving and honing in the design development.
A day spent with Ar. Manoj Mathur sir in discussing and reviewing of Batch 2021's sem 2 slaughterhouse design project. Ar. Manoj Mathur is a renowned architect and academicians who has been HOD of SPA Delhi for several years.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry in India, partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative processes. 

The CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre (also known as CII or CIIGBC) earned a LEED rating of 56 credits and became certified LEED Platinum for New Construction (NC) v 2.0 in 2003 – the first in India and the first outside of the U.S. 

Vegetated roofs cover 55-60% of the building’s roofs, and the remaining portion of the roof is covered by solar photo voltaic with a 24 KW capacity. The 100 to 120 units of power generated per day is fed into the grid meeting 20% of the total energy cost of the building.

“The green roofs on the curvey building are divided into parcels that are separated by parapets. On top of a concrete roof, the green roof system begins its build-up with three layers of waterproofing. 

A charity school that had been run by a zakah-funded, not-for-profit educational trust for the last six years finally required a building. The site is located on a hill top, in the unplanned settlement within the walls of the majestic Golconda fort in Hyderabad.

> Aims

The learning process will be clearly divided into two main objectives:

  1. Obtaining general knowledge about the discipline of Architecture as a whole, and being able to understand its main objectives, contents and the research of current interest in society.
  2. Developing design and analytical skills to be able to apply them throughout the practice in the processes that will be studied.

Masters of Architecture (M.Arch General)

Eligibility Criteria

Students who want to pursue this two year full time Masters program should be eligible as per the following categories : 

  • Completion of Bachelor’s in Architecture – 5 years course

The procedure of M.Arch Admission in Anna University affiliated college are through University Counselling and through the college’s management quota. The students are marked for Anna University counselling based on TANCET exam or through direct application. The qualifying exams to enter the course are as follows:
