M.Arch Faculty

Message from Design Chair

  • RVS Chennai Padmavathy School of Architecture is set to offer a Master’s degree program in Architecture that is aimed at being not only different but in many ways a path-breaking trend setter. The contents of all theory and studio subjects will be augmented by experts from the field to bring in a multi dimensional understanding of the subject. The emphasis and theme of the Master’s course will be to shift the mindset away from making the candidates “employable” to making them “entrepreneurs”. The course further aims at a proactive vision of possible future trends that can balance Urbanism, Heritage, infrastructure systems against mobile technology, new construction techniques and materials and tweaking existing transportation systems.
